HALCYON STUDIO POLICIES

Halcyon Studio is open for business!

We are so excited to do your hair, and we also want to ensure that we are able to keep Halcyon Studio a safe, clean space for everyone.

We have a new set of guidelines in place for reopening, as issued by the city and recommended by the CDC. In order to limit the number of people in the salon at any given time, as well as maintain a sanitized area at all times, we are enacting some changes for the salon and for your appointments.

Thank you so much for sticking with us during these challenging times. We appreciate your continued business, and we can’t wait to see you all!

FAQs

Do I need to wear a mask?

Masks are now optional inside the salon! We want everyone to feel comfortable coming into the salon, so if you would prefer that your stylist wear a mask during your appointment please reach out to them directly.

Can i bring a guest to my appointment?

In order to limit the number of people in the salon, we ask that you do not bring guests to your appointment. We also ask that you do not bring your children unless they are scheduled for an appointment as well.

Do you have refreshments and reading materials in the salon?

We have snacks and a variety of refreshments to offer during your appointment.

We will no longer have books or magazines available in the salon. Please feel free to bring your own reading materials.

What if i need to cancel my appointment due to covid-19 SYMPTOMS or exposure?

If at anytime within 5 days of your appointment you have presented any of the symptoms commonly related to Covid-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat) or have been around anyone who has presented any of these symptoms, we ask that you reschedule your appointment for a time when you (or those you have been in contact with) have been clear of symptoms for at least 5 days. If you arrive at the salon and appear to be presenting any of these symptoms, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. We understand that some of these symptoms may be related to allergies, but we are not taking any chances. There will be no late cancellation fees due to illness.

*Please check with your stylist for information on rebooking cancelled appointments and scheduling new appointments. If you are a new client looking to schedule an appointment, please email us at HalcyonKC@gmail.com

Is the salon open for me to purchase products?

Yes! Feel free to pop in at any time to restock on your favorite products or try out some new ones. If you’d prefer to do curbside pickup, please call in advance so we can take payment over the phone and schedule a time for you to pick up your items. You can also purchase products online here.

What additional steps is the salon taking to keep clients safe?

Each of our artists are allowing time for additional cleaning and sanitizing. Because of this, appointment times may be a little longer than usual. There may also be a slight increase in service cost.
